Now in its 74th season, GBS has provided Bridgeport and the region with the finest in orchestral music. Maestro Eric Jacobsen continues to stretch the impressive talents of our musicians with heroic, large scale programming. GBS has recently hosted such worldwide luminaries as violinists Gil Shaham and Colin Jacobsen, pianists Alex Beyer, Andrew Armstrong, and the incomparable Yuja Wang. 

 

We Hope To See You At The Klein

All concerts in the 2019-2020 season will take place at 8 PM at the historic, Art-Deco Klein Memorial Auditorium located at 960 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport. Our home for the past 73 years, the Klein is conveniently located near all major routes, has plush, comfortable seating and wonderful acoustics. Symphony patrons are offered free, attended parking at the municipal parking facility located directly across the street from the hall. An informative pre-concert talk is presented in the auditorium prior to each performance at 7 PM. For more information, visit www.theklein.org
